About Me

I am Anne-Marie Bloor, a self-taught wildlife and botanical artist based in Perth, Western Australia. My artistic journey is fueled by a deep passion for the natural world, and I strive to capture the beauty and intricacies of wildlife and native flora in my work. After going through some health issues I realised that this is what I want to do and where I am happy and doing what I feel I was meant to do.

Artistic Journey

As a self-taught artist, I embrace the beauty of continuous learning and exploration. Every day presents an opportunity to research, experiment, and grow, which I believe is the essence of being an artist. My work is a reflection of this journey, showcasing the vibrant colors and delicate details of the subjects I depict.

Medium and Techniques

I primarily work with acrylics, allowing me to create vivid and textured representations of the wildlife and flora that inspire me. My technique involves layering and blending to achieve depth and realism, bringing each piece to life and inviting viewers to appreciate the beauty of nature.
